Dr. Dinelly Holder, LPC is the Founder of Higher Life Pathways Counseling Services and began this organization with the desire to help others create a pathway to a higher quality of living with their thoughts, choices and decisions. Dr. Holder is a licensed psychotherapist, speaker and coach that empowers others to focus on their life's purpose in moving forward toward a successful lifestyle. Dr. Holder holds a Ph.D. in Human Services and Counseling Studies and is a licensed professional counselor in Virginia, Maryland, New York and New Jersey and a Board Certified National Counselor and Clinical Mental Health Counselor.
Dr. Holder has over 20 years of direct counseling experience working with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, addiction, anger issues, relationship conflicts, self-esteem issues, career challenges, and parental issues. She also gives counsel to those involved in domestic violence situations, i.e. psychological, emotional, verbal and physical abuse. Dr. Holder strives to empower her clients through counseling, thru the usage of counseling interventions i.e. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused Therapy and a variety of additional interventions that assist individuals toward healthier lifestyles. By helping others reach their best pathway to life, her belief is that individuals will be able to overcome their issues to help others in need. Her focus is on helping her clients utilize various therapeutic orientations to develop skills and strategies to overcome problem life areas and to make wise judgments and decisions in their lives.
Kasandra Sánchez Hernández has a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from George Mason University and a Masters in Mental Health Counseling and Behavioral Medicine from Boston University. Kasandra is also a resident in counseling and she is currently working towards her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology. Kasandra has experience working in diverse settings and populations in her clinical experience. Kasandra enjoys working with individuals utilizing strategies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and trauma-informed care. Kasandra is a bilingual clinician who speaks both English and Spanish and has experience providing services in these languages. Kasandra hopes to help individuals in their journey to improve their mental health.
Lisa Richardson is a Qualified Mental Health Professional that is a native New Yorker whose educational background includes a Bachelor's degree in Forensic Psychology and a Master's in Forensic Mental Health Counseling, both of which were obtained from John Jay College of Criminal Justice. Lisa has over a decade worth of mental health & counseling experience which includes working with young adults detained on Rikers Island, sex offenders, substance users, juveniles and families. Lisa enjoys working clients using psychodynamic therapy combined with CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy), motivational interviewing and harm reduction to shift beliefs and behaviors in a more positive and goal oriented direction. Lisa's long term goal is to create a space for individuals, couples and families to believe that there is no health without mental health.
