Dr. Dinelly Holder is an empowering counselor, speaker and coach that empowers others to focus on their life's purpose in moving forward toward a successful lifestyle. Dr. Holder holds a Ph.D. in Human Services and Counseling Studies and a Masters' Degree in Education and Rehabilitation Counseling. She is a licensed psychotherapist and utilizes various therapeutic orientations to assist individuals in developing coping skills to overcome problem life areas.
As a Licensed Professional Counselor in Virginia, New York and New Jersey and a Board Certified National Counselor and Clinical Mental Health Counselor, Dr. Holder has over a decade of direct counseling experience working with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, addiction, anger issues, relationship conflicts, self-esteem issues, career challenges and parental issues. Dr. Holder also gives counsel to those involved in domestic violence situations, i.e. psychological, emotional, verbal and physical abuse. As a licensed therapist, Dr. Holder strives to empower her clients through counseling, and society through presentations on a variety of topics that assist individuals toward healthier lifestyles.
Dr. Dinelly Holder began Higher Life Pathways Counseling Services with the desire to help others create a pathway to a higher quality of living with their thoughts, choices and decisions. By helping others reach their best pathway to life, her belief is that individuals will be able to overcome their issues to help others in need. Her focus is on helping her clients develop skills and strategies to make wise judgements and decisions in their lives.
Additionally, Dr. Holder has demonstrated excellent advocacy in presenting to various communities on mental health and drug addiction and its effect on society. Dr. Holder has also been involved on Advisory Council Boards in New York State in relation to promoting agencies that assist individuals in overcoming mental health and addiction issues.
